Why North Star Vega is important to earth?

In the most prominent sect of Hinduism or vedic beliefs, namely Shaivism, pancayatana or panchayatana system is followed. Pancha murthis are taken for procession. Panchakshram is used as the the primary mantra (Na-ma-si-va-ya).

This has cultural reciprocation in terms of panchayat system, panch bootha etc in other social and scientific spheres of Hindu system.
Five mantras are used to glorify Shiva out of which 4th and 5th widely used and known. 4th is Shiva or Mahadeva Gayathri.
5th is used by yogis and siddhas  for identifying terrestrial escape path or the luminous path of Devas or towards Devas.

Does such a path exists?

The 5th mantra "Esana sarva vidyanam eswara sarva bhootanaam, Brahmathipathir, Brahmano athipathir, Brahma Sivomae asthu Sadhasivom"
Meaning, "From Esana ( north-east or magnetic pole or Star Vega in Lyra constellation ) direction came all vidya you see, the Lord of all bhootas or natural forces or beings is there, even the Head of Brahma and Brahmins is there, Brahma is Shiva in a celestial form, Sada Shiva He is, Om "
This is the proof and direction.
Any notation in vedic scriptures or practices which is pointing to Oordhva (upwards) actually points to magnetic/celestial North/northeast towards Vega and not terrestrial North/space above earth. It's Oordhva for earth axis which points to northeast.
In Sri Rudra dhyanam, important phrase is "dhyaayE-deepsita-siddhayE dhruvapadaM" as in the verses below..
"aapaataala-nabhaHsthalaanta-bhuvana-brahmaaNDa-maavisphurat-

jyOtiH sphaaTika-liMga-mauli-vilasat-poorNEndu-vaantaamRRitaiH ।
astOkaapluta-mEka-meesha-manishaM rudraanu-vaakaaMjapan
dhyaayE-deepsita-siddhayE dhruvapadaM viprO.abhishhiMchE-cchivam ॥

brahmaaNDa vyaaptadEhaa bhasita himarucaa bhaasamaanaa bhujaMgaiH
kaNThE kaalaaH kapardaaH kalita-shashikalaa-shchaNDa kOdaNDa hastaaH ।
tryakshhaa rudraakshhamaalaaH prakaTitavibhavaaH shaaMbhavaa moortibhEdaaH
rudraaH shreerudrasookta-prakaTitavibhavaa naH prayacchantu saukhyam ॥"

There is more proof to it in temple design and yagna practices.
The dikpalaka avahanam starts in East and ends in northeast. Once reaching northeast, Brahma, Sesha, Agni and Atman is established in specific focal  centers.
In color combinations,
Sathyo jatam denoted as white, Vamadevam denoted as Blue / Black, Akoram denoted as saffron or kaavi  red ( in agamas the colour of Vamadeva and akora are interchanged, this denotes that it's a dichotomy ), Tatpurusham denoted as golden yellow, Esanam as white ( also Grey and Blue Black when linked with yogic chakra of Sahasraram or Sahasrara tala padmam ).
In Sri Rudram, where Shiva is called for from Sahasra Yojana in cosmos, he is called as Pinaka Pani with a bow and arrow as a saviour from Mrutyu.

Om Namo Bagavathe Rudraya Vishnavae mrutyur mae pahi (Sri rudram)

If a saviour/bhanu is visible,
Vamadevam denoted as Blue / Black (Vishnu / Sasisekaran)
Akoram denoted as saffron or kaavi red (Lakshmi / Sakambari)

In the mundane plane,
Vamadevam denoted as saffron or kaavi red (Kali)
Akoram denoted as Blue / Black (Kala)

In terrain of earth/visible cosmos, Esana roopa is hidden but visible as North Star - Vega. Other 4 faces are visible. So is the star colors based on age/maturity.
Like a piece of iron that’s gradually heated, the color goes from dark red to yellow and to dazzling white. An orange-red star has a temperature of about 3,500 C, a yellow one, like the Sun, about 5,500 C and blue stars approximately 30,000 C.
The visible spectrum of Sun in combination with our eyes is only 7 ( 7th manvantara now and atomic elements visible are in 7th row of periodic table). Out of which 3 are obvious in terrestrial systems and stars. Approximated colours - Saffron or red orange, Golden yellow, Blue Black. Mahaperiyavaah refers to this in lecture - Bhagavath karunyam explaining the science of Vedas - white to black and everything in between..
Vega is blue-white in color. Vega belongs to Lyra constellation.
Vega is the brightest star in the northern constellation of Lyra. It has the Bayer designation α Lyrae, which is Latinised to Alpha Lyrae and abbreviated Alpha Lyr or α Lyr. This star is relatively close at only 25-27 light-years (7.7 pc) from the Sun, one of the most luminous stars in the Sun's neighborhood.
Vega was the northern pole star around 12,000 BC and will be so again around the year 13,727.
Vega is only about a tenth of the age of the Sun, but since it is 2.1 times as massive, its expected lifetime is also one tenth of that of the Sun; both stars are at present approaching the midpoint of their life expectancies.
Although a planet has yet to be directly observed around Vega, the presence of a planetary system cannot yet be ruled out. Thus there could be smaller, terrestrial planets orbiting closer to the star. The inclination of planetary orbits around Vega is likely to be closely aligned to the equatorial plane of this star.
The indigenous Boorong people of northwestern Victoria named it as Neilloan, "the flying Loan".
In the Srimad Bhagavatam, Shri Krishna tells Arjuna, that among the Nakshatras he is Abhijit, which remark indicates the auspiciousness of this Nakshatra which is worshipped in Abhijit muhurtha or Brahma muhurtha.
The film "Contact" by Carl Sagan, a great astrophysicist of last century mentions vega as the civilization next. This is also available as a movie.
All of this has spiritual significance.

Zeta2 Lyrae is a single, white-hued star in the northern constellation of Lyra.
Other key stars in Lyra, namely, beta, gamma, delta are also white, blue or red  stars. Our Sun and epsilon lyrae are the golden yellow Stars in this context.
The Lyra star pattern is five nodes and denotes the five faces of Shiva.
All of this has spiritual significance.

Why choose a star which is 25000/27000 light years near to us?
27000 light years ~ 30000 light years - 30672 years in one manvantara ( as per Brahma Shri NGK ) * 14 = 432000 years (Maha Chatur yuga)
This is the time light takes to reach the closest ark of GC or reverse. Any information which has to be seen is 30000 years old either ways. This time period also corresponds to two other periods/cycles - Retrograde of solstices & equinoxes and change of the north star or dhruva nakshatra. Equinox and Solstice interchange once in ~30000 years in a change of North star. Also, North star changes likewise (major shift happens then though minor changes happen in between). The last major North star change happened 12000/15000 years earlier during the time of Meenakshi & Sundaresar and will change in another 13000 years from now.
In 25/27 years, a person can be reborn by Deva sankalpa not before!!
Devas can intercept key communication in this period and act.
Vega was chosen for this reason.
Sookshma/Gnana Bhanu is in the other elliptical center of solar system is linked to Vega which is always hidden from us, physically.

Beta lyrae in Lyra (962 LY) - White and blue - Satyo jatam

Gamma lyrae (619 LY), Zeta (619 LY) lyrae and Black matter in other Eliiptical center of our solar system - Blue (with white ) and black - Vamadevam

Delta lyrae (1160 LY) - Blue and red - Akoram

Our Sun and epsilon lyrae (162 LY)- golden yellow and white - Tatpurusham

Vega - alpha lyrae (27 LY) - White, grey shades with Blue black mixture - Esana
In Rudra Mahanyasa, urtvanga nyasa, it personifies Esana (Rudraya Vishnavae) in Sahasrara as the liberator. But, who takes the food of Jeeva with satisfaction as His offering.

Quadrilateral with red and blue black in top (Shakthi and Hari) and blue black and white in bottom ( Hari and Hara ) as below.
Zeta, along with epsilon and vega or alpha form another trigona or triangle. Blue black, golden yellow and white nodes (Hari, Jada Shakthi, Hara) in separate  triangle as below.
The shadow triangle you have to visualise is between blue black alternate center in solar system, our Sun and vega (Hari, Jada Shakthi, Hara).

From Sri Rudra,

He is red in colour,
He is more red in colour,
He is golden,
He gives rise to good things,
He is the Rudhra, who is the sun,
And so we bow before the thousands of Rudhras,
Who are spread in all directions,
And request them to cool themselves down.

Asou yo avasarpathi  neela greevo vilohitha,
Uthainam gopaa adrusannath drushan udhaharya,
Uthainam viswaa bhoothani sa drushto mrudayathi na.

He who has the blue neck,
Is the one who rises as the copper colured sun.
Even lowly cowherds see this Rudhra who comes as sun,
Even the maids who carry water from rivers see him thus,
And even all the animals of the world see him thus.
Let this Rudra who is seen in the form of sun,
Grant us all happiness.

Namas thamraaya cha arunaaya cha

Salutations to him who is of the copper colour of the dawn and to
him who is of the colour of sun after sunrise.

For contextual correlation  in Sri Rudra, see meaning of  verses to the 5 faces. Below are ending verses of each face..
Sathyo jatam - 1.1 - 2.1.7
Vama devam - 2.1.8 - 3.2.4
Akoram - 3.2.5 - 4.2.9
Tatpurusham - 5.1.1 - 6.1.10
Esana 6.2.1 - 11.11

Last 6 verses are summarised prayers..

Hari Om...

Liberation - there are 2 liberations. Personal liberation and civilizational liberation. A liberated soul becomes cosmic.
But stellar civilizations don't liberate easily.
There are 2 faces/phases  which are constant. Sathyo jatam and Vama devam. They exist in creation ever. They are cyclic. But between these 2 faces or phases, 3 faces/phases exist.
Akoram - creational level civilization
Tatpurusham - existential civilization
Esanam - mature or progressed or privileged civilization, simply Sathya loga
We are in Tatpurusham phase and to make it to Esana phase, we need support from another Esana civilization. Else, we would be wound up easily by Vamadeva phase or Vamadeva's face very easily.

Akoram - For Annamaya Kosa Souls
Tatpurusham - For Pranamaya Kosa Souls
Esanam - For Manomaya Kosa Souls
Vama devam - For Vignamaya Kosa Souls
Sathyo jatam - For Anandamaya Kosa Souls

In Sri Rudra - Lagunyasa, Mahadeva is medidated in centre head and Vamadeva in sikha.
Also, it's mentioned Esana lives in Ire or Intense Anger or Wrath.
As a civilization, we don't understand it!!!

Individuals may be...

Hanuman has/might have found the above theory/calculation and recorded it again. He is born again and again in different forms to transform monkeys to Devas .
Hanuman is not monkey faced. But, He understands the monkeys and where we came from. Also, the human species better!!! (we are sophisticated monkeys).

He founded/retold the scientific truth of Esana Vishnu in Sahasrara Kamalasana ( Sri rudram - Om Namo  bhagavate rudraya vishnavae mrityur me pahi ), Sahasrara tala padmam, Sahasra Yojana theory from vedas, travelled the cosmos, met the  prajapathi and taught us ways by which majority of Humans/Sociable monkeys can liberate!

We are not in the phase of Esana, our earth... Every soul who tries to lift the sanjeevni around us is hanuman himself.
That civilization or stellar system which becomes a Satya loga is where   Sookshma/Gnana Bhanu will reside.. Otherwise he might appear periodically but will disappear soon.
As a stellar civilization, we are in an existential crisis.. For e.g. in a 100 years we have destroyed 85% forests and many species have become  extinct. The human species is a parasite over earth. But 99% of the world doesn't know..
It's difficult to summarise.

Aurobindo has done it earlier..
"The yoga we practice is not for ourselves alone, but for the Divine; its aim is to work out the will of the Divine in the world, to effect a spiritual transformation and to bring down a divine nature and a divine life into the mental, vital and physical nature and life of humanity. Its object is not personal Mukti, although Mukti is a necessary lo condition of the yoga, but the liberation and transformation of the human being. It is not personal Ananda, but the bringing down of the divine Ananda - Christ's kingdom of heaven, our Satyayuga - upon the earth."

Hari Om

Satha (Ashtothra Satha) or alternate Sahasra Yojana theory and some calculations
********************************************************************************************************
Like in an earlier blog we deciphered how Sahasra Yojana refers to the solar system proportions to Galactic center, there are some proportions to the Alpha Lyr (Dhruva Star or Dhruva Padam) to solar system.

Diameter of solar system - 287 billion km or  287,000,000,000 km  (Note -This is a scientific estimate /approximation)

1 yuga - 108 Deva years or 110.181
1 sahasra - 1
1 surya yojana - 287,000,000,000 km * 8

24,79,68,00,00,00,000 kms or  26.21226216 light years (Distance from Alpha Lyr to Sun) - Place of Secondary or Dhruva Sura Bhanu or Dhruva padam

Alpha Lyr was chosen or solar system was fixed for the North star in above proportion.

"On Anuradha, with the athi deva Mitra, if we give an offering, it will grow and prosper for 108 years well guarded" says the Vedas or Homa preamble. This is as per his order.
8 is the directional compound or spatial factor

962 Beta lyrae (36 times  Alpha Lyr in distance)
619 Gamma lyrae,Zeta lyrae (24 times  Alpha Lyr in distance)
1160 Delta lyrae (44 times  Alpha Lyr in distance)
162 epsilon lyrae (6 times  Alpha Lyr in distance)

GC – Galactic Center of Milky Way
SS – Our Solar system
CG - Center of Milky Way galaxy (approximate)
Distance of GC from SS
27000 / 26421 light years (Alpha Lyr * 1008) - Place of Primary Sura Bhanu
