Are the teachings of Jesus in any way related to Hinduism? What about Vedic or Advaitic / Dvaitic Shaivism?

The summary of Saint Jesus and his philosophy through his teachings in the New Testament of Bible has some coherent message throughout. This is not to absolve the differences ( vegetarianism and others which are time centered ) that His views have with Vedic Advaitism or Shaivism.

The primary identity which is so remarkably is important is the Trinity concept which he evolves as below.

Bear with the christian operational theology which we have to understand that will get added as procedures and miracles are needed in every religion when it becomes a dogma!!!

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19)

Ofcourse, Jesus didnt write a book like many recent day prophets or seers or one is not visible today. Most of his teachings are only through his apostle's writings like one above.

But here when you read between the lines, The message is clear in congruence to the Nirguna Brahma, Saguna Brahma and Atma of Sankara Mayavada or Vedantic theory of soul spaces. Like Jesus who is the Son or Atma here, every soul is closer to God in the same way, He was already...

Now Read below statements where the essential oneness of the trinity is clarified or can be deciphered.

I am just sticking to the words as per the some of the disciples as they are the closest to the character of the Man himself.

Chapter 14 - John

19 Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live.

20 On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.

In my Father’s ahouse are many bmansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

Jesus saith unto him, I am the away, the btruth, and the life: no man ccometh unto the Father, but by me.

If you replace I with Love then its even more clearer as throughout his spiritual life, he explained universal love as the path!!!

"Love is the away, the btruth, and the life: no man ccometh unto the Father, but by Eternal Love"

If ye had aknown me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the aFatherand how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

Here, he once again stresses the unity of soul spaces..

11 Believe me that I am ain the bFather, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.

Here, he once again stresses the unity of soul spaces..

Here he talks about the Unity of himself and the holy father which you cant find in most or all of dvaitic sects or religions of the world. Some of these passages are very clearly depicting the advaitic theology of saivism or aptly vedic or vedantic  shaivism. Or if you are well read, Mahayana Buddhism or Digambara Jain / Samana theology.

12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that abelieveth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I bgo unto my cFather.

13 And whatsoever ye shall aask in my bname, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

15 ¶ If ye alove me, bkeep my ccommandments.

16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another aComforter, that he may babide with you for ever;

17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

18 I will not leave you acomfortless: I will bcome to you.

26 But the aComforterwhich is the bHoly Ghost, whom the Father will send in my cname, he shall dteach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Here, he comforts that there will be future prophets from the Holy father who will teach the world the same things of universal love and brotherhood so that people remember it apt...

Some other biographical sketch references..

a) His Apostle choice is 12. Including him its 13 as he becomes the sacrificial lamb!!

He knew Judas will fail him, Peter will fail him and fate will test his own self!! So, He reduces himself as the sacrifice for future prophets but retains 12 apostles and their path..

Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.[12]

— Luke 23:34

b) He says to Peter before the crucifix day that "Can't I call Gabriel (whom we call Garuda) and ask his 12 angels/apostles to exclude me from this fate of mine. But its as per His (Holy Father) wish that this should happen as per Gabriel's angel"

Gabriel may have been the angel who appeared to the shepherds near Bethlehem to announce the birth of Jesus.  Luke 2:9-14)
Gabriel may have been the angel mentioned by Luke who appeared to the Lord Jesus himself, in the Garden of Gethsemane before His Passion, to strengthen him. (Luke 22:43)

c) His pre-last words are words of all individual souls when they feel their effort with this body is in vain but he doesnt close with that. He says and then leaves his soul, "Its all over as per Your wish and order and I submit unto you my soul!!"

And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?[25]

— Mark 15:34

And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?[26]

— Matthew 27:46

After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.[32]

— John 19:28

When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.[36]

— John 19:30

And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.[40]

— Luke 23:46

A lot of above references show the relevance of Jesus as a prophet and one who has read eastern theology and philosophy well. Specifically vedic advaitic saivism and has mastered its spiritual path!!!

Now coming back to the historical questions of last 200 years..

William Ricket, Melbourne who questioned, "Churchianity vs Christianity"

a) why did so many pragmatic/modern christians ( Paul brunton, Theosophical society and its leaders, Australian Gandhi William Ricket and others) see the unity of Jesus way with vedic shaivism or Vedantic shaivism, Unity of Soul spaces?

b) Could the missing years in Jesus's life be accomodated in India, Mylapore and Bringi Malai or modern St Thomas Mount?

c) Was he actually preaching vedantic or advaitic shaivism in Israel and was crucified as people/powers didnt understand him?

d) Did he send St Thomas to India and did he come here?

e) What happened to St Thomas?

f) When Mahaperiyavaah was aked about Yogis or spiritual souls from west and his approach of guiding/accepting them as spiritual disciples or sending them to other yogis, he said there are many saivaite saints who come to India and they are across time and space...

PeriyavargaL went to bed after they were gone. After he retired, I asked him about a doubt in my mind.

Without replying anything to me, PeriyavargaL lapsed into sleep. He called me the next morning before he started his one hour japam. He asked me, "Do you know how many are the Nayanmars?"

I replied, "The Arupatthu Moover Utsavam is held (every year)! So, only sixty-three."

"Go to the Kapali temple, count and come back," he said. When I did it, I counted sixty-seven. I told this to PeriyavargaL.

"Who are those four people in excess?" he asked me.

I went back to the temple, inqured and came back. "One of them is the 'appAlum adi sarndharukku adiyAr!'" I said.

PeriyavargaL graced me with the knowledge, "appAl is those who are beyond desam and kAlam. Since the element of time is involved, it also refers to the adiyArs to be born in the hereafter. This man is beyond desam. He has just four janmas left."

Though PeriyavargaL who was such a jnani is not among us now, he is always living in his figure of grace and giving us abhayam.

To summarize,

It could be. But it gains weight because Christ's life has a huge gap of atleast 14 years and his teachings are Advaitic saivism.. white clad dress and his methods are tuned to life in middle East but they are aligned to Jain/Buddha/Vedic advaitic methods of philosophy.. Today's churchianity and 2000 year earlier Christ's life and works have to be seen independently from each other.. That's how pundits, most of them, see it. Many pragmatic Christians see that way.. Historically it could have happened.. Jesus visiting India and Mylapore or Bringi malai. St Thomas following his footsteps into south India..

Could have happened. There is no clear proof that they didn't travel here!!! It's his philosophy which opens up the debate for atleast 200 years. People who question it are realists. I am a pragmatic person like Mahaswami who says it could have happened particularly in Mylapore where there is proof many Europeans and middle East seekers came!!!

Chief Justice Ranganath Mishra talks about a frenchman who became his (mahawami) bhaktha and lived and transformed into an yogi in kanchi and is placed/buried in kanchi alongside other kanchi sannyasis..

Saivaite scholars and yogis have no time, birth and place!!!

Many more would come...

"Appalukku Appalum Adisernthaar" in mylapore means there are thousands and thousands across the world who understand pure advatic saivaite theology / philisophy who will attain mukthi.. Mahaswami is jagad guru and not just guru of a sect!!.

Across time and place, forever!!!
Mahaswami is not owned by us. We should not restrict him likewise..

He is the Gnana Surya of this solar system.. Sookshma Brahma/Bhanu!!

Lou Damiani says "How would I believe and you can believe he is not with us!!! The only hope world has today is that He is still there with us in His Eternal form guiding us as Jagad Guru, the Teacher of the World or even Universe. The moment we dont feel his presence, this world will become a Pathaala/Hell!!! Lets not go there..."

Paul brunton on his meditation times...

Let us read Deivathin Kural (Voice of God by Mahaswami) with such humbleness... and openness!!!

The problem is people who dont read widely get misconstrued with a dogmatic view of hinduism or sanathana dharma..

Hinduism is not one dogma but the only dogma which is pure monism (advaitism), not monotheism or polytheism !!!
